    Default Bipod recommendations

Well lads, Have a Remington 700 Lsvf in .223 application with the Fo, and im looking into getting a bipod for it. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to get. Ive heard Harris are good but thats one mans opinion. Would appreciate your experience on different bipods.
Also anyone shed any light as to what size would be best.
FYI gun will be for lamping, rarely for the range.

Genuine Harris (not a Chinese knockoff) 9-13 swivel. Using one for years. Will be using it for a lot more years

Sorry for the newbie question... but if i buy the harris 9-13 from sportsden, it will fit the rifle or is there certain types for certain rifles?

They fit onto the sling swivel at the fore end of the rifle stock and if there isn't a sling swivel you can put one on easily.

There are plenty of other ways to attach a bipod but you will probably only ever need the sling swivel mounted one
Make something idiot-proof, and they will build a better idiot.

Harris gets my vote aswell but make sure it's a swivel one. I would also recommend getting a set of shooting sticks. I never leave home without mine where's I only use the blood now and again

i use a Versa pod myself and prefer it over the harris design. a friend of mine got a Neopod recently, similar to the versa pod design and also a tasty bit of kit
