Probably a stupid question but why are the legs cut off??
As i said before i know nothing about deer hunting.

probably fits into the back of the jeep better and there is not much use for that part of the legs

As per Deer Hunter DL and it would also lighten the disposal load after skinning & butchering.

a very poor season for me. havent even seen a deer on any of my permissions in kerry either wile stalking or after charlie

Nice shooting there DR 6.5, both from the camera & rifle...

I'll be heading back to my usual haunts armed only with a camera soon to get some wildlife photography done.
